How This Tracker Connects to Plaspy​

When configured, the TK208 uses cellular GPRS to forward GNSS positions and event messages to the Plaspy server endpoint. Plaspy ingests the device messages and maps position, event, and status data into live tracking, alerts, and route history for monitoring and reporting.

  • The tracker is configured to send data to the Plaspy server endpoint at d.plaspy.com (or 54.85.159.138) on port 8888.

  3. Set port 8888 for the server connection. Note that Plaspy uses the same port for all supported devices.
  4. Choose UDP or TCP transport if the device requires explicit transport selection.
  5. Configure APN information and any optional APN username or password required by the SIM operator.
  6. Apply or save the configuration and restart the device if the manufacturer instructions require a reboot.
