  • A Plaspy account or access to a Plaspy administrator to verify the device appears in the platform after configuration.

How This Tracker Connects to Plaspy​

The TLT-7B can be set to send location information over GPRS to the Plaspy server endpoint and may also support SMS reporting for certain queries or alerts. When configured for GPRS reporting, the device sends periodic position packets to the shared Plaspy server address and port so Plaspy can present real time and historical tracking data.

  • The device is pointed to the Plaspy server domain or IP so packets arrive at d.plaspy.com or 54.85.159.138.
  • Packets are sent to port 8888 which Plaspy uses for all devices.
  • You can choose UDP or TCP transport where the device requires an explicit selection.
  • Plaspy automatically detects the tracker protocol and handles decoding on arrival.
  • Once reporting is active you can validate visibility and telemetry inside Plaspy.

Common Configuration Workflow​

  1. Access the official manufacturer configuration method, typically SMS commands or V-SUN configuration software, and confirm the device password.
  2. Optionally perform a factory reset if you need to return to default settings before provisioning.
  3. Enter the Plaspy server address using d.plaspy.com or 54.85.159.138 and set port 8888.
  4. Choose UDP or TCP if the device requires a transport selection for GPRS reporting.
  5. Set the APN and any APN credentials required by the mobile operator.
