  • The tracker reports to the shared Plaspy server endpoint by IP or domain and the shared port.
  • Data uploads use the device GPRS connection established with the operator APN.
  • Plaspy receives telemetry, decodes the device protocol automatically, and makes position and alarm data available.

  2. Configure the device APN and any APN username or password required by your mobile operator.

  • Set the time zone to UTC

  • Set the operator APN

Replace [apn] with your mobile operator APN string.

  • Set the APN username and password
USERNAME*123456*[apnu]*[apnp]

Replace [apnu] with the APN username and [apnp] with the APN password. Include this command only if your operator requires APN credentials.

  • Set the GPRS server to Plaspy by IP and port

This sets the tracker to send GPRS uploads to Plaspy on port 8888. You may alternatively use the domain d.plaspy.com where the device supports domain names.
