  • SMS based setup is supported by the example commands but manufacturer tools or USB configuration may also be available depending on firmware and hardware revision.
  • Firmware versions and hardware revisions can change command syntax or available parameters; always verify commands against the latest manufacturer documentation.
  • Choose UDP or TCP based on your network environment and the device options; both transports are supported when pointing to Plaspy on port 8888.
  • All Plaspy devices use the same port and Plaspy will detect the tracker protocol automatically, so use the shared port value when configuring different tracker models.
